Adolf Hitler originally was not supposed to have a surname called “Hitler”. This was due to the fact that his father was born out-of-wedlock and so decided to change his name from Alois J. Schicklgruber to Alois J. Hitler Sr., due to internal family issues. His name should have remained as “Adolf Schicklgruber” but for his father’s decision to change his name in 1877, he was able to bear the name which is still popular in German Nazi history “Adolf Hitler”.

2. ORIGIN

He was born in Branau am inn along the then Austria – Hungary border. According to historians, Adolf Hitler originated from Austria. This was due to the fact that his father Alois J. Hitler was born in Modern day Austria precisely Waldviertel which is situated in North-West Lower Austria. He was given the name “Adolphus Hitler”. He was the fourth child in a family of 8 raised by his father and his mother being the third wife. Together with Adolf’s step brothers and sister including their family, they moved to Passau, Germany.

Adolf Hitler as unknown to most people was born in an “Inn”. He was born on the 20th of April 1889 in Branau am inn which was located in the then Austria – Hungary boundary.

The full meaning of NAZI then was “Nazional Sozialistich Deuche Arbeiter Partei” with the first four letters coined from “Nazional” abbreviated into giving the party its very popular name “NAZI’. Apart from that, Adolf Hitler gathered the whole of German soldiers and led them into a world war in which they abysmally defeated Russia and several surrounding countries including Belgium, the then Czechoslovakia and Austria. He also contributed to raising Germany out of economic depression by putting in place some certain economic policies which helped to modernize some of the industries back then in his time. The popular brand of vehicle known as Volkswagen was introduced by him, which is still in operation till date.

Adolf Hitler was an author who wrote the book “mein Kampf”, He was also a painter as well as a visual artist.
